  • Budgens stores can be leasehold or freehold and ideally are between 1000 - 5000 sq ft.

  • The format is highly flexible and trades in neighbourhood centres, forecourts, suburban shopping parades and town or village locations.

  • The site should have good visibility, easy customer access & preferably car parking.

Our Partnership

We ask for three simple things from our brand partners:

  • Sign a three or five year Fascia & Supply Agreement.

  • Support our promotional programme.

  • Buy a minimum of 75% of your purchases from us.

Take a Tour

Before you open

We normally follow these steps, supporting you throughout the entire process.

  • Find the location

    Tell us your proposed location.

  • Initial visit

    We'll visit the site to assess the store's fit with the Budgens brand.

  • Store Layout

    We work together to develop a store plan and can project-manage your refit if you'd like us to.

  • Range and Merchandising

    We provide full merchandising plans and support throughout your conversion.

  • Training

    We provide training throughout the set-up, and the Regional Development Manager will provide ongoing support.

  • Fresh Food

    We help with all aspects of managing fresh food. Retailers with limited fresh food experience find this especially helpful.
