Before You Open

Before you decide to contact us about your store or a potential location it’s a good idea to do some research yourself and look at your options. Once you’ve decided Budgens is for you we normally follow these steps:

Step 1: Find the location

You either own or lease your store and advise us of your proposed location. We then carry out a demographic analysis to check the suitability.

Step 2: Confirm the location

We visit the proposed location and meet with you.

Step 3: Store layout

We put together a store plan for your site and project manage the refit process.

Step 4: New Store Opening Manager

During the set up process you are provided with a New Store Opening Manager as your point of contact.

Step 5: Training

We provide you and your staff training both off site and at your store throughout the start up period and ongoing.

Step 6: Range and merchandising

We provide full merchandising plans and can provide a stocking up loan.
